Serving fair trade and ethically sourced tea and coffee is increasingly important to many of our customers.

The UK is one of the world’s leading Fairtrade markets, with more products and more awareness of Fairtrade than anywhere else. Around 20% of roast and ground coffee sold in the UK is now Fairtrade.

Our network of distributors works closely with fair trade suppliers, so you can use fair trade products in your machine, and advertise the fact using fair trade graphics panels and logos.

What is Fair Trade?

Fairtrade is about providing better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world.

Fair Trade requires companies to pay sustainable prices (which must never fall lower than the market price),

Fairtrade addresses the injustices of conventional trade, which traditionally discriminates against the poorest, weakest producers. It enables these producers to improve their position and have more control over their lives.
