Healthy vending snacks keep students and employees fit for work
Since the government banned unhealthy snacks and beverages from schools, Westomatic has noticed a shift in the market. Sales of our glass-fronted can and bottle vending machines and point-of-use water dispenser have increased almost two-fold since the introduction of the legislation in 2008.
Our reliable OTIS 400 is one of the machines experiencing an increase in sales. A distinct lack of branding and large illuminated shop window make the OTIS perfect for establishments such as schools that are now duty-bound to supply healthy options.
With a capacity to hold up to 400 cans and bottles or 40 different types of drink in almost any shape, size or material, the OTIS can be filled with any combination of healthy beverages such as fruit juices, bottled water and smoothies. The moving dispense arm quickly ‘plucks’ bottles from the shelf and deposits them into the dispense cup within a swift 10-12 seconds, so pupils or employees can get their healthy snacks and drinks quickly during busy break-time and lunch breaks.

Children should drink an average of 1.5 - 2 litres everyday as dehydration has an adverse effect on mental performance and ability to learn.
