Westomatic makes it easy to produce great coffee, time after time
At Westomatic, the UK’s leading vending manufacturer, vending technology has developed apace in recent months, to produce coffee that can rival the best high street chains.Westomatic’s Marketing Manager, Mark Rhodes, says: “Using high quality ingredients alone is not enough to produce coffee shop standard drinks.Choosing the right equipment is critical to getting the best out of your ingredients.”
Ingredient ‘pulsing’ technology
Westomatic uses innovative ‘pulsing’ technology which ensures that ingredients are mixed to the right consistency, blending instant ingredients to perfection for great tasting coffee every time. The ‘pulsing’ works because instead of dispensing ingredients in all at once, they are ‘pulsed’ in little by little. This means no clogging and no lumps, especially important when delivering the increasingly popular 9oz and 12oz drink sizes.
Consistency is all important when producing a textured ‘foamed cap’ for the perfect cappuccino or that signature latte drink. The ‘pulsing’ system has even enabled Westomatic to develop a range of new premium drinks, including macchiatto, on its new range of Prelude and Sigma machines.
New paperless brewing technology
Westomatic’s innovative paperless brewing system has proved that operators no longer need to use complicated high pressure closed brewing systems to produce the punchiest espresso. Westomatic’s paperless brewer operates at low pressure, just 0.5 per cent. Operators will love this open system, because it is much easier to clean and delivers a consistently great cup of espresso, with a real kick, every time.
12oz cups
An integral part of delivering coffee shop quality drinks is to serve it in the right cup. 12oz cups are proving highly popular with customers at the moment, especially when branded, and they are prepared to more for them. Westomatic’s Sigma packs 400 12oz cups into one machine, for the complete the coffee shop experience.
Sip lids
The finishing touch for any authentic café style experience is 2009’s ‘must have’ coffee-to-go accessory, the sip lid. Westomatic has developed the first integral sip lid dispenser for its Sigma, which stores 80 lids in a free-flowing dispenser.
Add green credentials
Finally, perhaps one of the best things about vended coffee in 2009, is the fact that it doesn’t have to destroy the planet. Westomatic has developed unique, in-built energy management systems for its machines, that reduce power consumption by up to 30% during inactive periods. LED lighting lasts up to five years and does away with wasteful fluorescent tubes. While super-sized refillable canisters, own-cup and bottle facilities reduce packaging and waste. And as all machines are manufactured in the UK, and delivered packaging-free, carbon footprints are reduced. Now, doesn’t that sound like a recipe for success?
