We offer training courses for all our customers to ensure you can use the machines to their full potential. The courses are available for free through the Westomatic academy and is available for our full range. Our Intermediate and Advance courses cover all of our machines besides the Primo which has a separate course available. All of our courses run from 9am – 5pm on selected days. The 2 day Intermediate courses, now has an additional 3rd day for Primo training which is optional. Or if you wish for an engineer to attend just the 3rd day for Primo training we happy to help. Intermediate Course Details

 

Demonstration of Westonet:  How to log on, what each area does, how to get part numbers, how to locate tech manuals, how to get downloads, useful phone numbers for tech help and spare parts.

Tooling requirements: What is a basic tool kit? Spirit level, gram scales, thermometer, test meter, tools for the job.

Sigma Family: Explanation of features and benefits of Sigma family, signature, light, simplicity, touch.

Water and Power: Requirements for rising main potable water supply and a standard 13 amp 230 volt power supply.

Installation procedure’s: Importance of levelling machines, power and water requirements.

Internal Components:  Explanation of all internal components, water system, ingredient system, cup system, electronic system etc.

Bean to cup set up:   How to set up grind, ingredient throws, water level, extraction, texture of cake. Attendees participation.

Pricing and programming: Full programming to include How to price, use configs, adjust ingredient settings, water levels, with Attendees participation.

Gram Throws: How to gram throw ingredients and how to adjust run times.

Menu Screens: How to alter menu prices and menu details on Light and Simplicity.

Configuration:  How to save/load configs, understanding of configs.

Diagnostics: How to use diagnostics and how to interpret fault codes.

Touch Screen: Replacement, cleaning, media files.

CPU: Replacement, updates, connections.

BTC Unit Low Pressure: Set up, latest upgrades.

High Pressure Brewer: Introduction to high pressure brewer system and set up.

Fault Finding: Fault finding including diagnostics, fault and programming rectification.

Test: Test paper, to include water and power starvation, cup sizes, powder vs granular ingredients, blown fuses and fault  identification.

 

Advanced Course Details

 

Bean to cup set up - Low Pressure:  How to set up grind, ingredient throws, water level, extraction, texture of cake. Attendees’ participation.

Bean to Cup Set up -  High Pressure:  How to set up grind, ingredient throws, water level, extraction, texture of cake. Attendees’ participation.

Modules:  Removal and upgrades and part replacement on all modules, brewers, whipper deck, ingredient deck, boiler, extraction.

Menu Screens: How to alter menu prices and menu details on Light and Simplicity.

Media: Touch screen replacements, media uploads.

Programming: Full programming procedures including saving /uploading configs.

Diagnostics and Fault finding: How to use diagnostics and how to interpret fault codes. With attendee’s participation.

CPU: Replacement procedures, updates, connections.

Practical Tests: Fitting CPU which also requires upgrades, Screen replacement and upgrades, Grinder replacement, circuit errors and rectification.

Test: Test paper.
